This full colour, 952-page book provides the most comprehensiveand detailed account of Australian lizard species on all aspects ofcaptive husbandry relating to all species of Australian lizardsgeckos, skinks, dragons and monitors that may be maintainedin captivity.
The book is littered with the largest collection of reptile imagesever presented, with 2865 images from some of Australia's finestreptile photographers, many unique to this book and manyshowing species never before illustrated, including undescribedspecies and unobserved behaviours. These full colour images show all aspects of sexing, housing, breeding as well as the generalappearance of the species within each chapter including dozens ofmorphotypes of visually variable species.
Dr Danny Brown is a reptile breeder and veterinarian from Queensland. Danny has maintained and bred over 170 species of Australian lizards. His special passion is geckos, although he still maintains some pygopods and skinks. Danny also has an interest in native finches, softbills and waterfowl, native invertebrates and Asian longtail chicken breeds and he has a collection of over 1000 animals under his care.
