Neil R. Bockian, Ph.D., associate professor of clinical psychology and behavioral medicine at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago campus, is coauthor of The Personality Disorders Treatment Planner. Dr. Bockian lives in Chicago.

Valerie Porr, M.A., is the founder of the national nonprofit education and advocacy organization Treatment and Research Advancements Association for Personality Disorder (TARA APD), representing consumers, families, and providers affected by BPD. She lives in New York City.
