This work is a selectively annotated bibliography of research from areas of group therapy, group psychotherapy, group counseling, and psychodrama. The authors present a balanced sampling of empirical research with a wide range of research methods, analytic methods, and instruments so as to facilitate cross-fertilization of research efforts. The 1793 items, including 44 books, are presented within five age-group sections: children, adolescents, college students, adults, and the elderly.

Author Bio

BERNARD LUBIN is a Diplomate in Clinical Psychology, a Fellow of the American Group Psychotherapy Association, a Fellow of the Division of Group Psychology and Group Psychotherapy of the American Psychological Association, and a Fellow of the American Psychological Society and the American Association for the Advancement of Science. He consults and writes on the use of the small group in treatment. C. DWAYNE WILSON is Associate Professor in the Graduate School of Social Work at the University of Utah. He is a member of the American Society for Training and Development, and the National Training Laboratories Institute, and has served as a consultant to various organizations. He is coauthor of a book and has published articles in several professional journals. SUZANNE PETREN is a doctoral student in Counseling Psychology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City. ALICIA POLK is a graduate student in the Department of Psychology at the University of Missouri at Kansas City.
