I Am Not A Freak is an inside look into the mind of the little professor.
After years of being bullied, the author, Dylan Dailor, decided to share with the world what it can be like inside the mind of a person diagnosed with Aspergers. With the help of his trusty side kick, Stitch the dog, Dylan shares the inner workings of his mind in a fun and engaging story full of information and great puppy pictures.
Dylan Dailor is a 15 year old high school junior with a passion for Psychology and advocacy. He was diagnosed with Aspergers in 4th grade. He has spent the better part of his school years fending of bullies. In 5th grade, with the support of his school counselor, Autism consultant and his parents, Dylan created a power point to share with his classmates so that they might understand him and stop their bullying. That power point has become the foundation for this book. Dylan shares an inside view of Aspergers with the help of his dog, Stitch and continues to hope that by educating others bullying will cease.
