Author Bio

Kate Lueras was born and raised in Southern California.
Kate attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Cultural Anthropology. Her interest in other cultures led her to travel the world at every opportunity.
Following her undergraduate studies, she worked briefly in real estate before starting her career in the plastic surgery industry. After working briefly for a cosmetic surgeon, and learning the ropes, she was recruited by Dr. Larry Pollack, a board- certified plastic surgeon. Dr. Pollack was relatively new to the business, and wanted to build his cosmetic and elective- surgery business.
Kate and Dr. Pollack created Del Mar Plastic Surgery in 1997 and have been working together ever since. Over the last 25 twenty-five years, they have built two office spaces, and expanded their business to accommodate growth. In 2012, Kate received her Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix.
