This work seeks to raise some important questions regarding comparative philosophy and sets out to provide students with an unprejudiced anthology of source material derived from the Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Islamic and Western intellectual traditions. Each section begins with an introductory essay in which the leading questions and their responses from different traditions are presented in overview. The book should be useful for courses in philosophy, religion and the humanities.
