A Victim's Victory is the written testament of vSeleda Jemison, a young girl that somewhere found contentment in childhood molestation and wanted to commit suicide as an escape. She unearths a way to confront her internal demons and her guardian angel reveals himself to usher her into freedom from this imprisonment. In her story of love, lust, betrayal, deceit, molestation, incest, and guilt of secrets, vSeleda gives you a look into the intensity of the despair and pain, trial and triumph, and a surprising child birth all in the first seventeen years of her life. She was encouraged by one who spoke these words, "You, beloved, remember the words which were spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ: how they told you that there would be mockers in the last time who would walk according to their own ungodly lusts. These are sensual persons, who cause divisions, not having the Spirit. But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And on some have compassion, making a distinction; but others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment defiled by the flesh. Through praying and fasting, with the help of her angel, she found the faith to take back the years that she was deprived of, embracing the freedom from being terrorized by secrets, guilt, and lies, and espousal of the debut of destiny because she has found a "victim's victory".
Vachelle Jemison is a native of Birmingham, AL. She grew up in Ensley with her sister, three cousins, and a host of childhood friends. Her favorite game as a child was church. As a child she played sports such as basketball and football; but she was strangely intrigued with playing church. To Vachelle, writing is a form of expression that sooths the soul. Her likes include the viewing the beauty of older model vehicles, writing poetry, and maintaining a positive mindset. Her earliest memories began under Pastor Jiles and were later continued under Apostle Green. Born to Vanessa Nelson, a workaholic; the foundation was set to try with all you were inspired to do even if you fail. She has served in the Armed Forces for twelve years along with enjoying the adventures of parenting the wonderful Azariah Xavier. As a mother of one eager to seek God for himself, it would be hard not to stay inspired, because he wants to learn so much. Her greatest desire is to pass along information to keep others from enduring struggles that someone else has gained valuable knowledge from overcoming. She loves people and wants to see them prosper. For a lack of knowledge, people perish, and she doesn't want to hold any of it. Don't let anyone rob you of your imagination, your creativity, or your curiosity. It's your place in the world; it's your life. Go on and do all you can with it and make it the life you want to live.Dr. Mae C. Jemison
