"Who Are You Anyway" focuses on Exodus 34:6-7 where Moses asks the Creator to reveal His ways. That unique encounter occurs immediately after the Golden Calf debacle. Until we explore the Almighty's answer, it is difficult to understand who WE are and who we should be. The author spotlights the underlying Hebrew texts, connected verses in Scripture while investigating Rabbinical sources as well as personal history.
Insights are drawn from Maimonides, Rashi, Sforno, Kugel, Jonathan Sacks, Clement of Alexandria and Irenaeus among others as well as from Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.
Russell Bloodworth, Jr., and his wife of forty-seven years are the proud parents of four children and eleven grandchildren. His first two books, Visions, Dreams & Encounters and The Emerging Ekklesia, explore historical encounters with the God of the Universe over several millennium.
Russell was educated at the University of Virginia and Yale University in addition to stints as an American Scandinavian Foundation Fellow in Sweden and a Knight Foundation Fellow in conjunction with the University of Miami.
