Author Bio

Barbara Lassman was born in Beckley, West Virginia. She attended Kindergarten through 2nd grade in Chicago, Illinois. Then her family moved to St. Joseph, Missouri and finally settled in Kansas City, Missouri where she graduated from high school. She attended Kansas State University majoring in Physical Education. Much later she added 30 graduate hours in English as a Second Language. She has taught school for many years, first as a P.E. teacher and later as an E.S.L teacher in Pittsburg, Kansas and Pagosa Springs, Colorado. Presently she is teaching reading at Valor Academy in Pagosa. She was on the Southeast Kansas Women's Aglow Board; President of the Women's Aglow in Pittsburg, Kansas; Worship leader for Women's Aglow and has spoken to Women's Aglow groups throughout the State of Kansas. For 10 years she was the Children's Church Director at Victory Life Center in Pittsburg. She has directed Bible Schools and taught Women's Bible Studies for years. She and her husband are currently leading a Life Team at Grace in Pagosa.
