Description

From the moment of his birth, the life of Gabriel Adams is marked by signs and miracles. At his baptism, the pastor witnesses a blood-red cross appear on Gabriels forehead and is struck down by heavenly visions. Even more striking, as Gabriel grows into a teenager, he raises the dead by crying tears of blood, saving his principal from a heart attack and his best friend Mary after a horrific car crash. With each miracle, the paramedics and doctors are astounded, but Gabriel refuses to take credit, saying only that they occurred through the grace of God.

Everything changes for Gabriel when, on his way to Rwanda as a Peace Corps volunteer, his plane is struck down in a storm. The plane crashes on a remote island in the Atlantic, killing all aboard except for him and leaving him stranded. Though taken in by a tribe of friendly natives, Gabriel soon realizes that he has no way to get home to his family and Mary, with whom he has begun to fall in love.

As Gabriel searches for a way home and struggles to come to terms with his miraculous powers, he will encounter more challenges than he ever dreamed possible. It will take every ounce of his unshakeable faith in God and his unwavering love for Mary to see him through to the end and to a final understanding of Gods purpose for his life.

Well Denny, There is such a need for books that make you think of the purpose of ones life. The Father, the Son and the Holy Ghost. Any book, such as yours, that actually awakens the spiritual senses, is in high demand now. The world needs stories, such as yours, to kick start or open, that spiritual door too many needy and wanting souls. Everybody everywhere is searching for that bond that helps them to believe! The world is crying out now, at the top of their lungs, " MAKE ME BELIEVE, SHOW ME I want to know! All of us realize the research you did in writing of Last Chance." I am very close to being a fanatic as far as so much Jesus history is portrayed incorrectly. I really appreciate your research, the facts you did and taking the time to weave them, correctly, into the story. That, was the most important part of a job you did for me! You set some very important facts, straight and correct!

About the Author

Dennis lives in Portland, OR, where he is self-employed as an owner of a real estate appraisal company. Since his own conversion experience at the age of ten, he has been moved to acquaint people with the power and joy of believing in Jesus Christ, and he hopes that Tears of Glory will provide inspiration to both believers and non-believers alike. He and his wife have been happily married for forty-seven years and have two sons.

At the age of ten, Dennis Pedersen received Christ into his life while watching a re-enactment of the crucifixion on television. At the moment of Jesus' death on the cross, Dennis was overcome with extreme sorrow and a warming sensation flooded through his body. Ever since, Dennis has a strong belief in Jesus Christ and God as his savior In his own words, Dennis writes "as an inspiration not only to fellow Christians, but also to those who are non-believers. I am not trying to change non-believers' minds on Christianity, but to acquaint them with the power and joy of believing in Jesus Christ as their savior. I am more of a spiritual person than a religious person, as every religion has their own belief system. It is the spirit of the person with the belief in Jesus as their savior that will reward them with everlasting life." Dennis lives in Portland, OR, self-employed as owner in a real estate appraisal company. In addition to writing, he enjoys golfing, travelling, dancing and spending time with his family.
