Description

Society has decided that science and religion are opposed to each other. They are not. They are united. They back each other up. Science always complements the Bible. That's the truth, and the purpose of this book is to explore that reality. Zooming in to the smallest part of a cell and zooming out to the largest extent of the universe testify to the same thing, the necessity of a creator. 'No God No Way!' And along the "way," author Chris Hathaway uses his experience as a science teacher (along with lots of basic common sense) to show how the big bang and the general theory of evolution fall to pieces when burdened with real-life testing and analysis. But what about natural selection Is carbon dating legitimate What's the deal with dinosaurs and how do they fit into all this These questions and plenty more will be answered as you journey through this exciting book. So suit up. Pack your essentials. Put on your hiking boots and grab that space helmet. We're going for a ride.

Author Bio

Chris Hathaway, a passionate advocate for the idea that God's world reflects his Word, grew up in the town of Oshkosh, WI with dreams of being a professional Ghostbuster. When that didn't work out, Chris fell in love with the sciences and ended up getting a bachelor's in physics and astronomy. After publishing a few astronomy-related articles and a brief stint as an associate scientist, he realized his true calling was in teaching and went back to school for a bachelor's in education. In 2011 Chris was hired by Martin Luther High School in Greendale, WI where he currently teaches a variety of science classes. He actually likes school so much that he went back to college for a third time to earn his master's degree in science education. An active individual, Chris enjoys running, swimming, pickup basketball, and church dartball. He's also a fan of pizza, chili cheese dogs, regular dogs, '80s pop music, and professional sports. Chris and his wife, Naomi, met while working at a movie theater, and they are the proud parents of two children, John and Laura.
