In 2007 he became a research professor in theology at St Mary's University College, Twickenham, London. He is the author of countless books including Catholicism (OUP, 2004), Jesus Our Redeemer (OUP, 2007), Jesus: A Portrait (DLT, 2008), The Easter Jesus (DLT, 2008), Incarnation (Continuum, 2002) and Dictionary of Theology (TTC, 2004).
