Amy Samuel has always had the gift of gab. As a child, she loved nothing more than entertaining her family with stories, even convincing her little sister to go along with them. Little did her family know that God had a calling on her life to preach the Word. After suffering from deep depression at age 18, during which she contemplated suicide on a daily basis, she met a loving pastor who taught her about the saving grace of Jesus Christ and the healing power of God's Word. As her depression abated, she decided that she wanted to spend her life sharing the good news of Jesus. She became an ordained pastor and served as the Associate Pastor of The Upper Room Chapel in Richmond, VA for 15 years before moving into full time evangelism where she motivates and uplifts audiences through Women's Conferences and speaking engagements throughout the country. She is also the president of Amy Samuel Ministries, which introduces people to the saving grace of Jesus Christ and teaches them how to live the Word of God. She is also a trained actress and has appeared on many television shows, movies and commercials, viewing this work as just another platform God has given her to share the gospel. She has been married to the love of her life, Tom, since March 4, 2000. They have three children: Andrew, Jonathan and Maggie. They live in Virginia with their Puggle, Francisco, cats Melvin and Henry, and ten pet chickens.
