Many years in pastoral ministry has provided the author with almost innumerable stories that provide insight into the life of a church. Some of the stories are very funny; all have some humor involved. Most of the stories in this book are the experience of the writer, but numerous others have contributed interesting and humorous stories of their own. It is hoped that this book will lift the spirit of all who read. The poems included will also provide encouragement and inspiration.
Kenneth Kirk, Jr. PhD. has been a full-time pastor for 45 years; part-time adjunct professor for approximately 15 years; a police chaplain for 15 years. Though retired from full-time ministry, he is currently serving as a chaplain for a rescue mission in Kansas City, Missouri.
