"Out of My Mind and Heart" is a compilation of original prose writings, poems and photographs. The writings are creative insights into many different passages in the Bible. This thoughtful pondering on psalms and bible themes aims at fostering a meditative appreciation of the truths of the Scriptures.

There is no rigid order to the writings; they may be read in any order. The ideas presented and dwelled upon aid in understanding Scripture, and serve to undergird the faith of those who read them.

Author Bio

Wayne Johnson was born and raised in Saskatchewan, Canada. He has resided in Coon Rapids, MN for 34 years, along with his wife Marjorie. Previous to that he pastored two churches in Wisconsin. His educational experience was completed at Bethel College (now University) and Seminary in St. Paul, MN. As a layman in his church he taught adult Bible classes for over 30 years, plus fulfilled other roles with the church. His passion is study of the Bible, especially by digging into original languages. He also enjoys photography, cross-country skiing, and hiking in the mountains of Colorado.
