Author Bio

Joan Chittister is the author of "Illuminated Life"; "Scarred by Struggle, Transformed by Hope"; and "Wisdom Distilled from the Daily." She is the executive director of Benetvision, a resource and research center for contemporary spirituality. She lives in Erie, Pennsylvania.
