Pastor Nathan has a bachelor's degree in economics from Yale University, and a master's degree from Yale Divinity School, New Haven, Connecticut. He has been invited to be a presenter across the United States, Canada, Europe, and the Caribbean. He is an advisor to a wide range of pastors and other leaders. He is pastor of First Timothy Christian Church in Spring Valley, NY, founder of Rooted Ministries. He has been an Adjunct Professor of Economics at Syracuse University for Project Advance and is currently an adjunct professor for the State University of New York at Rockland in Suffern, NY. He lives in lower Hudson Valley, New York with his wife, Myrlande Demosthene, and two children.
