This book is a tool used to lead people to reading the greatest book in the history of literature, The Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is a fantastic work of art, however, its size intimidates those who aren't serious about reading it. "Sincerely, Brother Griff Volume 2" was written to introduce the incarcerated to Christianity, however, this book could be used for all types of outreach programs. From drug/substance abuse programs to homeless outreach to battered wives/spousal abuse programs, this book has something for everyone. It gives you a brief glimpse at many of the topics discussed in The Holy Bible in a much more condensed format. My desire is for this book to lead the reader to diving into The Holy Bible in order to gain a better understanding of Creation and the promise of Salvation offered by our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ!

Author Bio

Gil Burnett Griffin is a member of The New Paradise Baptist Church Prison Outreach Ministry. He and the pastor, Reverend James Moore Jr., have known each other since they were three years old and met in the Sunday School Nursery Department of Calvary Baptist Church in San Diego, Ca. Baptized at age six/seven by the late Dr. S.M. Lockridge, Gil was a member of the CBC Sunday School Program until his departure to The University Of California San Diego in 1983. There he was a member of the Warren College Residence Halls Staff of Resident Advisors from 1984 until shortly before his graduation in 1986.

Primarily a graduate of San Diego City College in 1983, Gil has an AA Degree in Business Administration and a BA Degree in Media Productions. Married in 2008 at NPBC, he and his wife Lerma and their daughter Delenn officially joined the church in August of 2017. Officially retired July of 2019, Gil has now returned to his passion for writing in the hopes of pursuing this as a retirement career. "Sincerely, Brother Griff Volume 2 is his second book of inspiration and hope aimed at helping the incarcerated find their way to Christ. His daughter is an aspiring artist and they hope to create a number of children's books together in the near future!
