Description

Based on the 23rd Psalm, The Amazing Adventures of Jimmy and Billy are a cherished collection of stories about two young lambs who get to know their shepherd, Davey. Each story in the 12-part series follows Jimmy and Billy as they discover a big new world in the meadow, meet interesting characters, and learn to trust Davey. Children will ultimately learn that we have a Good Shepherd and his name is Jesus. These 12 stories have been told through dramatic story-telling for more than 50 years! Now they are written and illustrated for everyone to enjoy.

In I Shall Not Want, the second book in The Amazing Adventures of Jimmy and Billy series, the young lambs meet their shepherd, Davey. Jimmy and Billy soon learn that Davey knows what they need and always takes care of them. He provides their food and protects them from a big storm.

Children will have fun seeing how Jimmy and Billy's adventures continue in the meadow and also enjoy finding a hidden butterfly on each page. Parents, grandparents, teachers, and caretakers will enjoy sharing the Biblical principle found in Philippians 4:19 that our God supplies all our needs.

Author Bio

Bob Sivulka is passionate about his family, fishing, and sharing Jesus. When his own sons were young, he thought up these Jimmy and Billy stories to illustrate the principles found in the 23rd Psalm. Always the storyteller, Bob first began sharing these stories with his boys at bedtime. Over the years, the circle widened as he began sharing them with audiences in Sunday School classes as well as Awana groups. Bob and his wife, Deanna, live in the Salt Lake City area. They have been married for over 50 years, have four adult sons, and nine grandchildren.n/a
