Description

This classic guide helps servers to perform with confidence and reverence, allowing the liturgy to unfold in a smooth and prayerful manner. Also contains easy-to-draw symbols that servers can use to make a diagram of their sanctuary's layout for study and practice.

Reviews

"A revised version of a workbook and guide to serving at Mass, with updated suggestions and illustrations and emphases on female servers. Even though Roman Catholic, it is easily adaptable for Episcopalians."
--Travis Du Priest, The Living Church, April 28, 1996

"The New Complete Server has been extensively revised and updated with important additions that are designed to include female servers and incorporate local customs. This new edition of the classic guide also stresses the importance of the server to the celebration of the Eucharist. Its step-by-step format helps servers to assimilate instruction from the priest, deacon or parish lay leader and to perform their ministry with reverence and confidence."
--Tim Lewis, as printed in Pastoral Life, May 1996
