This book is full of stories just like ones that Jesus told to his friends a long time ago. Jesus loved to tell stories. In fact, He was the best storyteller of all time because the stories he told werent just regular stories, they were special, secret stories!

At first you might think these stories are about other people. Sometimes these people do amazing things and sometimes they do not-so-amazing things. Sometimes they make great choices and sometimes they make not-so-great choices. Sometimes they are nice and sometimes they are not-so-nice. Those parts of the story are the not-so-secret parts.

But if you look and listen carefully, and see beyond the other people, maybe youll find the secrets that Jesus has hidden inside of each story. Maybe youll be able to see that these stories arent really about other people. Maybe youll be able to see that these stories are actually about YOU!
