DR. MUHAMMAD IBRAHIM HI. SURTY (b. 1941) BA (Hons), MA (Bombay), Ph.D (London). Dr Surty served for several years the University of Sokoto as Reader and Head of the Department of Islamic Studies. He is a Senior Lecturer at CSIC, University of Birmingham and Chairman of the QAF Qur'anic Arabic Foundation Trust.
