In this second edition of his dictionary of Islamic fundamentalism, Guidere adds more than 100 new entries to those of the first edition (CH, Jan'13, 50-2409) and updates a number of previous entries. The chronology and bibliography have also been substantially updated. As one might expect, the bulk of the new entries and revisions deal with the rise of the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS), the Syrian Civil War, and prominent terror attacks in Europe and elsewhere since 2012.
