PAUL B. PEDERSEN is Professor of Education at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He is well known for his expertise in multicultural counseling. His previous books include Handbook of Cross-Cultural Counseling and Therapy (Greenwood Press, 1985). ALLEN IVEY is Distinguished University Professor at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. An ABPP Diplomate and past President of the Division of Counseling Psychology of APA, he is the author of 20 books translated into 14 languages. His most recent work is Counseling and Psychotherapy: A Multicultural Perspective (1992).
