Reviews

Building from the stories of pioneering work and the legislation that founded modern special education in the United States, this book uses a conversational tone to explain the mild disabilities and effective responses within the modern, inclusive schooling context.

--David Scanlon, associate professor, Boston College

Inclusive Strategies for Teaching Students with High Incidence Disabilities is full of excellent advice about how teachers can adapt instruction to meet the range and variations of all their students in general education classrooms. It should be required reading for all teachers who are embarking on their professional training as classroom teachers.

--Anne Jordan, professor emerita, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto
