Judith Harries has been teaching music and drama in Northampton for over 15 years, working with children from the ages of nine months to eleven years. Before teaching, she worked for various music publishers including Boosey and Hawkes, Faber Music and Oxford University Press, involved in commissioning and writing new products for the educational music market. She now edits and writes extensively for early years publications and has written several books in the Planning for Learning Series (Step Forward), The Little Book of Sound Ideas (Featherstone) and the Stepping Stones to Creativity series (Step Forward).
