Description

Honest, pragmatic advice empowering you to affect change, be strategic and lead SEND provision in your school purposefully and effectively.

In this honest, practical and empowering book, SEND expert Kenny Wheeler shows readers how to build strong foundations for success as a SENCo across primary and secondary. Like having a coach in book form, The Inclusive School: Great SEND Leadership includes clear, practical guidance and advice on how to develop a vision for SEND, understand your context, ensure effective practices and interventions are in place and harness different leadership styles and approaches, all updated in line with current guidance and the NASENCo. This book is a chatty and supportive friend to help you to lead and balance demands of stakeholders whilst delivering great practice and support, rather than being stuck on the hamster wheel of day-to-day operational demands.
