Spanish Political Parties offers an up-to-date guide to contemporary Spanish politics and provides key documentary extracts where appropriate so that readers may examine the issues themselves. This volume provides a comprehensive introduction to the Spanish political system and the present state of the parties, while also dealing with Spanish politics in its historical context. Individual chapters deal with the party system, national parties such as the PSOE and the Partido Popular, and parties at the level of the Autonomous Communities.
