On January 17, 1945, President Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9513 creating a Top Secret organization called the Black and White Club. Today, the organization runs a vast network of agents through all facets of society, government, business, intelligence, and the military. They are looking for their newest member: FBI Special Agent Joshua C. Martin. Josh left the family estate in New Hampshire to serve his country as a member of the U.S. Coast Guard. After graduation from the Academy, Josh became the first Coast Guard officer to complete SEAL training. While leading a SEAL platoon mission against a Drug Cartel smuggling operation, his platoon is ambushed. To find justice for his team, Josh leaves the service and joins the FBI. As an undercover FBI agent, Josh poses as the "Cash Man" buying heroin from the Center Street Kings street gang who front for the La Libertad Cartel. During one of his undercover buys, the exchange is raided by the DEA. During the ensuing shootout, a major player in the La Libertad Cartel is killed. With his cover blown, and a new baby on the way, Josh decides to resign from the FBI and move back to New Hampshire, but Josh has just one problem. Everyone wants to kill him, and he doesn't know why. After the busted drug buy, the body count starts to rise, and Josh is a hunted man. Ambushed by a street gang, targeted with car bombs, and pursued by a mercenary hit squad, Josh retreats to New Hampshire for home field advantage. Facing insurmountable odds, the Black and White Club offers to help. But membership is for life. You may be alive, but your life will never be the same. Josh joins the club and finds out why everyone wants him dead, A secret that reaches to the highest levels of government. No longer the hunted, Josh is now the hunter pursuing justice where ever the trail leads. Author Bio

Captain Peter J. Bergeron, USCG (ret) has over 29 years of executive level leadership experience at the highest levels of government, military service, and business including the White House, the Chief of Naval Operations, and the Commandant of the Coast Guard. He is a recognized leader in the fields of maritime safety, security, operations, and continuity of government/business operations. He is currently the Director of Safety and Security for the Canaveral Port Authority.Captain Bergeron retired from the Coast Guard after 26 years of exceptional service including 4 tours as a Cutter Commanding Officer, a 3 year assignment to the White House Military Office working for the President, and tours working directly for the Chief of Naval Operations, and the Commandant of the Coast Guard. His final tour was the Chief of Operations for the First Coast Guard District providing oversight of Search and Rescue, Incident Management, Preparedness, Law Enforcement, and intelligence efforts in 8 state regions from the Canadian border to New Jersey involving over 2,000 miles of coastline and 12,000 active duty, reserves, and auxiliary personnel.) He is also a trained intelligence officer with extensive experience operating throughout the Caribbean, Latin America, and the Eastern Pacific.He was a Fellow at the Chief of Naval Operations Strategic Study Group in 2006.He is a 1983 graduate of the US Coast Guard Academy with a BS in Government. He holds a Master of Science in Strategic Intelligence from the Defense Intelligence College (1992), and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2002. Captain Bergeron now lives and writes in Palm Bay, Florida with his wife Debbie, two dogs, Bob, and Brady, and the cat Bill. He is currently working on the second novel in the Black and White Club series: Holy Ship.
