This companion to the British constitution was inspired by the author's view that the tendency for modern political studies to concentrate on processes rather than structure, has led students to fail to understand basic political terminology. This book is an attempt to provide the basic vocabulary for students of politics. An introductory survey of concepts relating to the consitutional framework leads on to a glossary in which basic terminology is defined in concise terms, cross-referenced so as to lead from one entry to another.
Certainly, this book would answer many questions that students, especially American, might raise. "British Politics Group Newsletter"
