He has published works on leadership in police and social work agencies, rhetoric and presidential policy-making, and political culture. NANCY S. LIND is Associate Professor of Political Science at Illinois State University. Her specializations include the bureaucracy, including interactions of the presidents with administrative agencies, public administration, and public policy./e Her publications have focused on issues of violence, the role of the NCAA in setting administrative standards for colleges and universities, and economic development.
