The book expresses how the gaps in policy effect service and the need for change. The book demonstrates briefly how Healthy Mental Health is our answer.
Althilia Moore, LPC, MS is the Founder and CEO of Morea Psychological Services. She is a licensed psychotherapist and has a specialty in Trauma informed Therapy. She received her Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Substance Abuse Disorders from Springfield College-Boston, MA. She holds a B.S. in Human Services and Humanity from the school of Springfield College-MA. She is a native of Connecticut where she completed her parent leadership skills recognized by Hartford, CT Capital.
Althilia is trained and Certified in EMDR Therapy and working towards EMDRIA Certification, she has training in Grief Therapy and facilitates a Grief Support Group and individual Grief work. She is trained on level one Gottman's for Couples Therapy. She continues to climb the latter with Couples and soon will reach a higher tier.
She provides therapy for individuals, couples and family who are considering a new outlook for their challenges. A healthy mind is her goal to meet as it her most important target for others as she has an understanding of how her own Mental health changed because someone was there to listen to her, accepted her as is and then offered an opinion without any judgement. She has a full understanding and lived out experience on getting to the other side.
She has a passion for others Mental Health and inner freedoms, and she is multicultural sensitive to individuals' opinions and lived out experiences as it matters to you and the world we share together. Her work will continue with writing self-help books for individual's and the communities to share. When Althilia has spare time, you can find her with her family at best, writing books, enjoying kayaking, listening to music, shopping and networking with her community to grow stronger.
