Author Bio

Fatima Scipio began her career as a teacher and has worked training social workers in the child welfare system. She is CEO of Young Enterprising Sisters (Y. E. S.) an entrepreneurial program for girls ages 8-17 that educates, empowers and energizes the next generation of business owners/entrepreneurs. Fatima has been featured in Essence, RedBook, Positively Black on NBC, among others and is a contributor blogger on the Huffington post. thefatimascipio.com Paige Mason is a Central Valley based freelance illustrator/artist who has had the pleasure to have called San Jose, California, "home" for six years with her family of five! She now resides in Fresno, where she continues to make art and teach at a public elementary school.
