This systematic programme supports women from all walks of life every step of the way with advice on maintaining self-esteem, including participatory exercises and inspiring examples that confirm feelings of increased self-respect and achievement as the programme progresses. The author's approach to conquering feelings of inadequacy and self-defeating behaviour includes such effective steps as: practising six key ways of nurturing oneself, re-organizing and appreciating one's good points, silencing the inner critic - and heeding the inner child, breaking the self-imposed failure cycle, learning to communicate and be heard, and overcoming external obstacles that limit one's progress.
