New paperback edition of hardcover book first published in 2014. Anne Dachel is the media editor of Age of Autism, a prominent online blog that has 18,000 followers on Facebook, 35,000 followers on Twitter, and receives over 1500 unique daily visitors per day. The author is an authority on the subject. She has taught children with special needs for over 30 years, has a son on the autism spectrum, and has written about media coverage of autism for over ten years at Age of Autism. A third of all American parents believe that vaccines cause autism. By challenging mainstream news sources and exposing their bias, Dachel gives these parents a voice.
Perhaps with the best of intentions there has been, nonetheless, longstanding misreporting and misunderstanding of the documented facts regarding vaccine side effects, including the autism links. When history eventually tells the whole story, it will undoubtedly rank as one of the biggest health and news media scandals of our time. Sharyl Attkisson, former CBS investigative reporter, author of Stonewalled: My Fight for Truth against the Forces of Obstruction, Intimidation, and Harassment in Obamas Washington A comprehensive analysis, through the words of many different experts and advocates, revealing the unconscionable cover-up of the worst medical disaster in human history: the creation of an epidemic of autism and other disorders through overvaccination. Dachel has put all the disparate facts, events, and experts in a single book, a must-read for any parent concerned about the health of our children. J. B. Handley, cofounder of Generation Rescue Every movement has its heroes. Anne Dachel is the Rosa Parks of vaccine-induced autism. If I had a dollar for every comment Anne Dachel has placed at the end of each misinformed news story on the vaccine/autism issue, I would be able to fund the kind of transparent and independent vaccine safety research this book so strongly calls for. Alison MacNeil, cofounder of Thinking Moms Revolution "Anne Dachel has reviewed the media coverage of the growing epidemic of neurologically impaired children (ADD, ADHD, autism, etc.). She outlines the media bias in any study or report that vaccines may be behind many of these serious problems. She endlessly points out that hundreds of individuals at the CDC have conflicts of interest because they have financial ties to the vaccine makers. . . . Her message is very clear, do not vaccinate before you educate yourself on the vaccine issues." Mayer Eisenstein, MD, JD, MPH I would encourage all citizens concerned with the health of Americas children to read Anne Dachels book Boyd E. Haley, PhD, professor emeritus in chemistry at the University of Kentucky
