For a decade, James Valentine has conducted a weekly forum on his radio program called the Form Guide. People call in seeking advice on sticky social problems. they present their dilemma and then other people start calling in with solutions. Now all this invaluable advice is in book form! the Form Guide engages with such critical issues as: When you take a bottle of Champagne to a dinner party, should the host serve it or can they keep it Or, what do you do when your neighbour's dog uses your lawn to do its business And how do you approach your workmate about his appalling flatulence there is nothing here about curtseying to the Queen, seating people at weddings, or how to organise a debutante ball. there is, however, advice on public flossing, plumbers using a toilet they've been fixing, and the appropriateness of G-string twanging. the Form Guide's about us. It's about you. It's a hilarious but helpful book about all those important little social things that can send us right up the wall.
