She has a long list of publishing credits, including The New York Times, the Washington Post, the San Francisco Chronicle, Elle, Sunset and the Best Food Writing series, as well as two plant-centric cookbooks. She has also worked with a wide variety of companies, from Uber to Kashi and MyFitnessPal. She has a PhD in European history from Stanford University.
