W.C. Young is an accomplished entrepreneur, civic leader, and master storyteller whose legacy spans business, philanthropy, and community engagement. Between 2000 and 2011, he was instrumental in raising over $25 million for a range of companies and nonprofits. He has served on ten boards and consistently balanced his role as a business owner with deep volunteer commitments.
A standout chapter of his philanthropic journey was with the Denver Active 20-30 Children's Foundation, where he earned top fundraiser honors five years in a row (20052010), helping to transform the lives of countless children across the Denver area.
W.C.'s leadership hasn't gone unnoticed. In 2000, he was named to the Denver Business Journal's prestigious "40 Under 40" list. His company, XploreNet, was ranked the sixth fastest-growing privately held company in Colorado in the early 2000s. He was later featured in the Denver Business Journal's Power Book (2010) and recognized as a finalist for the Philanthropy Day Corporate Citizen of the Year Award (2011).
