This volume memorializes the accomplishments of key figures among the Italian-Americans of the twentieth century. They are the descendants of Italian immigrants and, through their achievements, bear witness to the sacrifice and valor of their forefathers.
The men and women featured are different from one another in personality and profession. They are contemporary people, highly energetic and intensely involved in achieving their goals and making a contribution to the American dream. They have the capacity to inspire others by their dedication, and strive to help build and shape our nation.
