Richard Bernard earned his B.A. in political science from the University of Oklahoma, his M.A. in history from Wake Forest University and his Ph.D in history from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He is now the dean of Jackson College of Graduate Studies at the University of Central Oklahoma.
