Reviews

Cardinale's bibliography/index provides bibliographic control for 375 anthologies on women's issues. A subject/genre index organizes the collections into very broad categories....The most important and useful parts of the book, however, are sensibly organized. The bibliography of anthologies, alphabetized by title, lists the titles and authors of every chapter in each volume. The keyword index to these titles is very thorough, enabling a user to find relevant items using as little as a single keyword. Since the titles are generally very descriptive of their contents, the absence of additional subject indexing is hardly noticeable. There are also author and editor indexes. This can be useful in women's studies collections and in general reference collections.-Wilson Library Bulletin
