Author Bio

Lori Sokol, PhD, is a veteran journalist with over thirty years of experience. Her articles have appeared in the Huffington Post, the Baltimore Sun, and on Slate.com. She was recently interviewed on the Wall Street Journals podcast and by Forbes.com. She currently serves as the executive director and editor-in-chief of Womens eNews, an award-winning, non-profit news organization that reports on the most crucial issues impacting women and girls around the world. Dr. Sokol has also spoken internationally at a number of womens empowerment summits and conferences in the United States and Asia. She is coauthor of The Agile Workplace and Workforce: Flex-Primer for the New Future of Work (Bonnier Corp., 2011). She lives in New York City.
