This anthology originated in a conference on the subject held at the University of Calgary.... Several scientific, social-scientific, and legal perspectives are brought to bear on the subject in a series of interesting and worthwhile essays. The stustantive content is often related to Canadian cases, a refreshing change from the usual American bias in such collections....
