On the basis of these estimates, the book identifies liberal societies as the freest as a whole, and their anti-liberal opposites as the most unfree.

Milan Zafirovski, Ph.D. (1999), Florida International University, is professor of Sociology at University of North Texas. He has published numerous articles and monographs in sociology and related fields, including Modernity and Terrorism (Haymarket Books, 2015).
