Author Bio

Oliver Wright is an accomplished geopolitical and open-source intelligence (OSINT) analyst with a decade of industry experience spanning the Royal Marines, private sector, and UK's Cabinet Office. He began his intelligence career as a Royal Marines Combat Intelligence specialist and deployed as part of a NATO task force on Op SHADER, where he worked as part of an OSINT cell tracking terror groups in the Middle East. He was awarded the US Army Commendation Medal for his performance on this tour. After leaving the military, he worked for the Cabinet Office, where he worked as part of a new crisis response unit in which he used OSINT techniques to monitor unfolding geopolitical developments, create products to inform and assist ministers participating in COBR meetings, and produce the government's daily geopolitical summary.
