James Goldrick served in the Royal Australian Navy, retiring as a Rear Admiral. He was the author of numerous books on naval history and maritime strategy, including The King's Ships Were At Sea, Before Jutland and After Jutland.Captain Alastair Cooper RAN is Director of the Sea Power Centre-Australia.
