Chris Kanyon dealt in a world of false realities. In his professional life he played a role - and in his personal life he played another. Rarely, if ever, could he truly be himself. Slowly he began to realise that he suffered from manic depression, which caused him to have good days and bad days. On 2 April 2010, Chris Kanyon committed suicide at the age of 40. Chris Kanyon bucked the odds by rising through the ranks to the top of the professional wrestling world, but he did so while keeping the truth about his sexuality secret. These are Kanyon's last words.
"Kanyon is brutally honest about the wrestlers he meets, his decision to take steroids, and exploring his sexuality." -- Wrestling Reality
