Seikichi Toguchi
studied karate under Chojun Miyagi and Seko Higa. Among the many honors received throughout his lifetime, Toguchi accepted an invitation by the Japan Karate Federation to participate as the Okinawan master at its first opening demonstration and world karate tournament held in Tokyo in 1969.
