Description

The Rugby World Cup in 2007 is New Zealand's to lose, largely due to the efforts of one man, coach Graham Henry. His personal and professional career is on the line. He's the one who'll bear the brunt of our wounded pride if they fail - and undying gratitude if they win. His campaign to win back the cup has been closely scrutinised by someone who knows and loves the game, and has known and respected the man for more than forty years. With no allowances for friendship, and no special access to the All Black camp, Deaker has written a consummate analysis of the games, the plan and the man behind the team. He knows the key factors that will win - or lose - rugby's ultimate prize.

Author Bio

Murray Deaker is probably NZ's best-known sports commentator. His radio programmes are syndicated nationwide on Radio Sport and Newstalk ZB three nights a week plus six hours on Saturday and Sunday. His TV show, Deaker on Sport, every Monday on Sky Sport is the only NZ sports show with the presenter's name in the title. He's bigger than life, controversial, influential and highly opinionated - and his audience love him for it. Murray lives and works in Auckland.
