Author Bio

Fran Tarkenton played quarterback for the University of Georgia Bulldogs and played for 18 years in the National Football League as quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings and the New York Giants. He is a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame and the College Football Hall of Fame and is recognized as one of the greatest players of all time. He lives in Atlanta, Georgia. Jim Bruton is the author of The Big House and A Tradition of Purple. He was a member of the Minnesota Golden Gophers football team in 1965 and 1966 and signed professional football contracts with the Minnesota Vikings in 1967 and 1971 and with the Dallas Cowboys in 1968. Roger Staubach is a Heisman Trophy winner and a legendary Hall of Fame quarterback who played for the Dallas Cowboys.
